Malaysia First Astronaut

"It's a small step for me, but a giant leap for Malaysia."

Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor - the first Malaysia astronaut chosen as a spaceflight participant under an agreement with Russia through the Angkasawan program. He would be flying with Expedition 16 today.
(note: he's really handsome, isn't he? a part-time model! wow.)
Malaysian astronaut Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor, Russian cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko and NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson of the U.S.
We've been sitting infronta the telly, waiting eagerly to witness the historical moment. At the same time, we wonder what is the first sentence he would utter up there. It'd better not be "Malaysia Boleh!".
Today, indeed, is a significant day.
Let me quote a typical line : We're proud of you!
Let's pray that they'll reach Earth safely soon=)
