She Can Haz Wavy Hair

In case you didn’t notice, I’ve switched my hair back to side parting because someone said I looked very cheena with my centre parting. Not that I despise cheena people but the comment was obviously meant to be a harsh one. And I missed my side parting hence the new look (which looks not much different anyway cause my centre parting wasn’t too centre LOL).

Why am I so chubby?????

Photobucket

I’ve been wearing tank top a lot lately. Feeling the effect of global warming. This afternoon was so hot I sweated right after shower! =(

To be honest I have a rather unattractive at-home look which you wouldn’t want to see. Bra-less with a tank top, ugly spectacles on a nude face and with hair all clipped-up like a middle-aged housewife.

Eyeliner is my life-saver. Teehee. Don’t you love our long wavy hair? That’s my youngest sis, Gigi. Her hair is naturally wavy, even wavier than mine! Nice right! *jealous*

Okay enough of random talks. Gonna yumcha at Ahpeng wantanmee now! Hiak hiak. But I hate the wantan cause they taste really porky. Yuck!

Melbourne- Victoria Harbour

On our third day in Melbourne, Katie couldn’t bring us around as she had a group meeting, so Joyie played her part as our tour guide instead. The plan was to take the free City Circle Tram and go down at whichever station we want.

#1 There’s no day when we don’t dress up in black.

Photobucket

#2 Before the journey, we stopped by Lord of the Fries which was in the must-try list that Katie prepared.

Photobucket

#3 The menu.

Photobucket

#4 It might look like just another snack stall, but really, the fries were amazing!

Photobucket

#5 Special sauce that makes you crave for more!

Photobucket

#6 No, you don’t eat KFC when you come all the way to Melbourne because the fried chicken there sucks. But there was one thing (or I assumed, one and only) that tastes good- KFC wicked wings! We bought 15 wings for the 3 of us XD

Photobucket

One thing bad about Melbourne is that you can’t find proper chili sauce there. Unlike in Malaysia, they don’t serve chili sauce in places like McD and KFC, let alone in any other neighbourhood restaurant. Well they do have “sweet chili”, which I don’t think should even be called chili in the first place.

#7 In the City Circle Tram which looked really old and classic.

Photobucket

#8 We hopped down at Victoria Harbour.

#9

Photobucket

#10 So many yachts!

Photobucket

#11 I thought building as such only exists in prints.

Photobucket

#12 At the first sight it looked like a dice, but observed closely, aren’t there four legs sticking up from the rectangular body? So it was a cow stuck on the tree? Wonder how they got this idea. LOL.

Photobucket

#13 That’s the City Circle Tram.

Photobucket

#14 The harbour was really quiet and peaceful. Would be an ideal place to reside upon retirement if you enjoy waking up to the soothing breeze.

Photobucket

#15 We sat on a bench and prepared to nom our food.

Photobucket

#16 See, it says “the best fries you’ll ever try”, and they didn’t lie!

Photobucket

#17 Wicked wings!

Photobucket

#18 Before that, there was this girl who stood up from the bench leaving a huge water stain behind. We thought she pee-ed on her pants or something. But then it happened to all of us! (so much for laughing at her earlier on) Apparently the bench was wet and the water soaked through the wood so we got deceived by the surface. We left with very wet asses which shivered each time the wind blew from backward. Jeez.

Photobucket

#19 We went further up to Harbour Town shopping centre to hunt for cheap clothings! But Joyie warned us not to shop too much as we were going to the awesome DFO on the next day. We couldn’t shop much even if we wanted to, as all the shops closed before 6pm.

Photobucket

#20 Very clean road everywhere in Melbourne.

Photobucket

Han Gook Gwan (a Korean restaurant) for dinner!

#21 From top left: Diana, Shereen. Bottom left: Jess, me (duh), Jean and Katie.

Photobucket

#22 Cha Jeong Meon or something which means 炸酱面. It’s a Chinese dish.

Photobucket

#23 Gyu Tan! (ox tongue) Damn funny when the Korean waiter repeated our order cause he pointed to his own tongue when he said ox tongue! Wtfreak. We laughed our heads off XD

Photobucket

#24 Oh noooo I forgot what the rice is called! Bibimbab is it? LOL.

Photobucket

#25 Supposed to mix it with the sauce.

Photobucket

#26 Korean hot pot! Yummeh!

Photobucket

#27 Sweet and sour chicken. Don’t underestimate it. It’s one of the best chickens I ever had, if not the best!

Photobucket

#28 She always mocked at me for saying that some chickens taste too chickeney.

Photobucket

#29 Three of us.

Photobucket

#30 The girls. Plus a monkey behind HAHAHAHA.

Photobucket

#31 All of us. Very the happy after a satisfying meal! *burp*

Photobucket

After all the nice food we consumed was half digested, we left home and went out to Tien Ren for bubble tea.

#32 Hot Taro (yam) milk tea.

Photobucket

#33 Fried chicken.

Photobucket

#34 Damn nice lo the Taro. I don’t mind having that every night before I sleep!

Photobucket

#35

We can haz Polaroids

As if my life isn’t miserable enough, my HP Compaq laptop adapter chose to spoil during this time. It used to be insensitive for quite a while depending on how i position the wire, but this morning when I tried switching it on, the whole adapter head came off! Wtfreak. All of a sudden it just came loose like a fallen tooth! I panicked for a few seconds wondering how I’m gonna survive without a laptop for the rest of the day. Thank goodness aunt left her Acer at home, so I could borrow it for the time being until I manage to get a new adapter. Been searching on lowyat forum for a cheap replacement, doesn’t necessary have to be ori as long as it works. Kinda desperate right now.

Uploaded some photos onto my Photobucket last night before my laptop went out of service. DCIM event at Mid Valley. We had our photos printed with Canon Selphy thanks to a DSLR user, Kai Kiat.

Eugenie, Jane and I. Lunch at Sushi King.

Let me digress a bit. I’m fucking stressed now having so much things to do at the moment. In 2 months time or so, I’ll be out of my comfort zone. Things will no longer be the same as I move on to another chapter of life. Not that I would be going too far, yet I’m still dreading the infamiliarity which is about to strike my life. And then there’re so many uncertainties. Worst of all, I have to be a considerate child who thinks about how much burden she meant to her daddy. I still have 3 more years to go. Managed to survive with my own hard-earned cash from freelancing but unfortunately my money is already running out. I’m facing a serious financial crisis, FML!

Sorry for going off topic. (and wtf I hate this Microsoft Office 2007!)

Photobucket

Met up with Sun at Tony Romas’s.

Found an online seller for a compatible adapter! Hopefully will receive it on Thursday so I won't be internet deprived. And no more faulty adapter that makes my laptop shut down once every few hours!
