Tai One

It’s a Taiwanese cafĂ© at Pesta, Muar. It’s been opened for quite a while but haven’t been there till the other day, when Andrew suggested that we should try something new. Well, the place isn’t exactly new, but considered new for me as I haven’t stepped my foot there ever since we shifted. My old house used to be just right opposite, and now it has become an autism association. It’s weird seeing the place I grew up transformed into a centre where autism kids and volunteer workers come and go.

Photobucket

Nice photos taken with Andrew’s DSLR. I had to remind him to bring his camera before he commented that there’s nothing nice to shoot in Muar. What are you saying??? There’s always me! LOL.

Photobucket

He thought fries are boring and so-not-taiwan, but it turned out really good with special powder topping. The dumplings were delicious too!

Photobucket

Welcome back from UK. I hate your kiddo hair. Azhar look was disgusting but at least better than this.

Photobucket

My favourite photo.

Photobucket

Most of the photos turned out sucky but he said it was the model’s problem. Pfft.

Photobucket

Had to shamelessly repeat “eh take picture of me!” every now and then cause the photographer was reluctant and paiseh. Wtfreak.

Photobucket

Then I forced him to take a nice photo of me modeling the car, but he failed! Can’t even see the car lo!

Photobucket

The shiny BMW which I was supposed to model for. I’m a better photographer. Papa Chua please don’t keel me for featuring your car here. Teehee.

Photobucket

Spotted a funny car plate. We reckoned it must belong to a durian seller XD

Photobucket

An ordinary scenery in Muar which we often take for granted.

Photobucket

More vain photo of me.

Photobucket

It’s so greeeeeeeeeen!

Photobucket

Anyway I got really pissed off yesterday because someone told me that he formatted his laptop and camera and the photos he was supposed to send me are all gone! They’re nice photos of me which I’ve waited ages to receive, but now they’re ALL GONE!!! Freaking angry and mad! Photos are like my biggest treasure, can’t afford to lose any of them, especially those really pretty ones. Moreover I waited 2months for them! He could have just emailed me before everything was reformatted! Jeez. Damn suey lo. Some more acted like no biggie and said feng liang hua, that photos can be retaken! It’s never the same, geddit?! And I couldn’t have gone back to the same place and have it all taken again. Photos refresh my memory ad remind me of the good old happy times. Now I’ve lost one part of my happy past, oh great.

Going up to KL with Kim tomorrow, but I haven’t packed my stuff! Gotta make sure I don’t leave behind anything as I’m going back for good. So sad to leave my cosy home. Right now I have an urge to take a hot shower and sleep till the next morning. Feeling so sleepy after taking my cough and flu medicine. Think of something that would motivate me! Oh oh, have to plan our next 2 days, where to eat and shop and have all the fun in the world! And the fun goes on till Saturday when I board the plane to east side! I hope my flu will be healed the moment I wake up the next morning. Life is good after all. Okay my sentences are becoming more incoherent, I better go pack now bai!

Canon Ixus 105

I know I promised at least 5 Melbourne posts but there are only 3 posts so far! No worries, will get it done as soon as I’ve done procrastinating. Good news, I’m getting a new camera soon! Canon Ixus 105, not exactly awesome, but good enough for me. Better still, no one has to pay a single cent for it cause it’s a gift redeemed from dad’s credit card points! Wanted a G11 but it requires 500thousands points! Wtfreak. It’ll take months to accumulate that much of points, provided if he uses the same card every month, which is quite impossible. Have to wait for at least 1 month for my camera to arrive. Previously, it took only 2days for them to courier a bicycle cause dad told them a touching story about how important the bicycle meant to him as it’s my brother’s birthday present. Surprisingly, the bicycle arrived on his birthday itself! Dad should have told them that the camera is meant for my birthday so I don’t have to wait for another month! Pfft. But I guess the same trick will not work twice? LOL. Wonder what colour it’s gonna be, forgot to request for a pink one =(

Meanwhile, I thought of creating an early wish list for my birthday which won’t be happening till end of August! Now that I’m getting a camera, I can check that off the list. Still thinking of getting a Polaroid after seeing how much fun people are having with their instant photographs. But the price of the films is a major turn off. So if you’re getting me a Polaroid, make sure it comes together with films that are enough to last me for at least 2months! Teehee. I want a Blackberry after I settle down in Sunway! With a good telco service so I can tweet everyday! And I need an external hard disk as well cause my laptop is running out of memory! Gosh, why are these all gadget-related stuff? Have to include some fashionable stuff in my wish list so I won’t turn into a geeky uni girl.

Uni is starting in less than a month. Unlike college, uni admission doesn’t excite me at all. Back then before I entered college, I even planned my outfit for orientation week. Now, I think I’ll just grab whatever I can reach from my closet. I haven’t really get a clear idea about how my future turn out, what I’m gonna do, who I’m gonna be etc. Pretty aimless at the moment. Sis thinks that I should start praying and asked God for a direction. She even borrowed a video for me in which a preacher advises teenagers on their future pathways. Hopefully this coming 3 years of uni education will help me gain some self-discovery. Meanwhile I should start making the full use of my brain after having it rot (not literally) for the past few months.

Right now I should start packing my luggage cause I will be going up to KL 2days later! After that I should start packing again as I’ll be leaving to Sibu for one last trip before I start my uni! This is my first time to Sibu, hope it’ll be fun. What’s nice to eat there? Any particular places that I must visit? Can’t wait! *excited*

Happy Birthday Dad

On Thursday, dad went up to KL to restock his clothes so I decided to follow. Sis, Priscella took a day leave from her home school academy and tagged along too. It was a rare opportunity for us to shop around together in KL. We went to Pavilion for Toy Story 3! Have been wanting to watch movies in the cinema after spending weeks in Muar. There’s no cinema in this town in case you don’t already know, except one local cinema with only 2 small theaters which constantly stink like rat pee. I took her to Pepper Lunch for the Unagi rice, but so much for the yummy food, my taste buds weren’t functioning due to my terrible flu which gets worse each day. Could only imagine the taste with what’s left in my memory from the last time I visited Pepper Lunch.

Photobucket

We had Beard Papa cream puff! I can really eat that everyday.

Photobucket

According to my 3 younger siblings, they hated me because I used to be a hot-tempered monster. 3 of them used to gang up against me but they would lose the battle because I was too strong (the exact word described by them). They would end up being beaten up by me instead. They said there was even once when I dragged my sis into the bathroom and splash cold water on her, though I don’t remember having performed such awful act. But as time passed, the amount of time I spent at home became lesser, especially after I left home for studies. They said distance makes the heart grows fonder, how true. Our relationship improved gradually, and up to this day, I’ve become closer than ever with each of them. With Pris, there’s nothing we don’t talk about. Sometimes we would reminisce on our childhood memories till late at night, and Gigi, my youngest sis who sleeps in between us would cover her head with a pillow and demand us to shut up XD

Photobucket

See the price difference between student and adult ticket! Gosh, can’t wait to get my student card in order to enjoy such privilege!

Photobucket

I’m still having cough and flu up to this day. It sucks having to blow my nose every 10minutes. Worse still, everything tastes so bland when you’re having flu. Will I ever recover? I miss the taste of every good food out there!

Photobucket

Ichiban Boshi after the movie.

Photobucket

She carries her back pack everywhere she goes. Siao one. Inside contains all her school work -.-

Photobucket

We bought cupcakes and donuts before leaving.

Photobucket

But no one in my household appreciates Cupcake Chic! Apparently it was too sweet for them. But the sweet icing is always my favourite =(

Photobucket

By the way, yesterday was dad’s birthday so we bought him a cake. Happy birthday dad! Hope you’ll stay young and hensem forever. Teehee.

Photobucket

My camera officially died, so have to take photos with my phone from now on. Unless someone offers to give me a camera as my birthday present! Semi-pro is good enough. Hiak hiak.

Never Been Sicker

The lack of update is depressing. I have been so sick for the past few days, could hardly tweet let alone blog. Sick, recovered, then fell sick again. I woke up in the middle of night feeling as if a fire ball was burning my head. Fever had never been so bad before. The news of Joash and family’s death made me even more ill. That night when I closed my eyes, all I could see was the image of them in Heaven. It struck me that God could really take our lives back so quickly and unexpectedly. It was the toughest night for me. Time passed so slowly when I was sick. I was afraid that God would take my life away just like that. I thought it would be good if He relieves me of all pain and worries, and if I just die like that, I wouldn’t have to attend uni anymore. But how am I going to face our Father in Heaven since I haven’t accomplished any of His will???

I went to the clinic twice. The second time it was so bad I even requested for injection. Can you imagine coughing your lung out? No, my lungs remained in my body, but I coughed till I vomited. But then my stomach was empty in the morning, so nothing came out which made me feel even worse. I knew I had to eat something, but at that point of time I really had no appetite at all. I had to chew and swallow my bread so slowly to make sure that I don’t ki siao and vomit while eating. It sucks to be sick! When I got back my appetite, all I could eat was soup-based noodles or vermicelli with fish balls. The same thing for 5days continuously! Wtfreak. Maybe I would get well if only the maid make me something nicer like carbonara instead of mi sup. Yucks.

This morning I woke up with a massive headache. Instead of attending Sunday service, I slept and sweated in the living room. My blanket must be contaminated by my germs and bacteria by now, but it had never smelt better before. LOL. My initial plan of going back to KL by tomorrow to watch The Back Up Plan doesn’t work anymore. Probably need to stay here for a little longer to make sure I don’t fall ill again. Missed Toy Story 3, now had to miss this. But life back home is so comfortable, I’m dreading the days I have to go back to KL and start my uni life again. Sigh. By then I would have so much more to think about, so much more to take into considerations.

I’m not sure how much weight I’ve lost during these few sick days, apparently my sis commented that I look scarily-skinny like a lizard now. If being sick is a good way to thin down, I would rather stay fat! I shuddered at the thought of downing another paracetamol. God, please don’t make me fall sick again after this. I must stay healthy for the Father’s Day steamboat at grandma’s tonight and for many more wonderful meals that are yet to come! Please grant my will, kthxbai I mean thank you Lord, Amen.

Happy Fathers’ Day by the way! =)

Beng Chun's Birthday @ Sanga BBQ Steamboat

It was Wesak Day that Friday and it happened to be Beng Chun’s birthday, so most of us came back for his celebration. There were more than 10 of us, slightly too many to fit into a restaurant table, so we opted for Sanga BBQ Steamboat buffet.

#1 Buffet style is the best for us gluttons.

Photobucket

#2 Couple of the day HAHAHAHA.

Photobucket

Damn sucky right have to pay extra RM3 to change the aluminium foil! Worst is they don’t provide us tissue. Have to purchase it from them! Kanasai.

#3 Another couple of the day, me and Jess! Teehee.

Photobucket

#4 Look at that plate of meat! Delicious when they’re barbequed!

Photobucket

#5 Happy Kay Vin. LOL.

Photobucket

#6 Chia Hui was sweating like mad.

Photobucket

#7 Must have ice-cream for dessert after every steamboat buffet. There was a variety of flavours, and no doubt that durian was ze bomb!

Photobucket

#8 Jess’s attempt to be the lollipop ice-cream girl. Wtfreak. My lollipop ice-cream was already half-eaten.

Photobucket

#9

Photobucket

#10 Jess and I being lovey dovey but kena photobombed by the birthday boy.

Photobucket

#11 Jess pulled my bra strap so fcking hard I screamed like siao and made everyone on our table paiseh. I was wearing rubber strap! Damn painful I swear. She said it was revenge for me pulling her bra strap during secondary school. Wtfreak it was 5 years ago leh! Crazy woman =(

Photobucket

#12 Pei Wing and Shi Ying. Pardon me for my CMI oily-faced-after-bbq look.

Photobucket

#13 Group photo.

Photobucket

#14 Neo likes to suck Jin Sheng’s balls. Wonder what makes my cousin fall for a ball-sucker? Can’t accept the idea of having a ball-sucker cousin-in-law! HAHAHAHA.

Photobucket

#15 This is the (fill-in-the-blank, seriously idk) look. Not my idea. Teehee.

Photobucket

We proceeded to Tanjung for cake-cutting session.

#16 The official cake.

Photobucket

#17 And the alternative one, meant for throwing at people’s face XD

Photobucket

#18 I ate like half of the cake that night lo. Confirmed gain 2kg!

Photobucket

#19 Sohai Ang. You look very attractive, not. Teehee.

Photobucket

#20 Evil Jin Sheng attacked me from behind when I was nom-ing the creamy fruit cake!

Photobucket

#21 Macam syok.

Photobucket

#22 HAHA so cham,

Photobucket

#23 Last but not least, the ball-sucker coward who ran far away when everyone was spraying at each other’s faces. By the way that’s the signature durian at Tanjung Emas.

Photobucket

It was great to have us gathered once again. Looking forward to see more of you soon, now that some of you are coming back from oversea this month. Yay!
