February

Pardon me for the lack of update, for I've been deprived of proper Internet these days. Ever since July last year, I haven't signed up for any broadband service at my Sunway apartment. Good news is, I just registered for Digi Smartplan Internet Unlimited for my Blackberry! Can plug in my bb into my laptop to online any time. Howerver, there's one serious obstacle right now- my laptop CD compartment (or whatever technical term you call it O.o) is damaged so there's now ay I could insert the cd to install my bb software! What a disaster. Gotta borrow someone else's laptop before I could start fully utilising my unlimited internet service.

How's life after CNY? I hope everyone has gotten over the gambling atmosphere. After all, we wouldn't want to stay up late for mahjong and miss our class the next morning. This week is the beginning of my new semester. Pretty relaxed I would say, since there's no tutorial class on the first week. Meanwhile I'm looking forward to our coming lessons. There's always so much new stuff to learn! Angela. Meiyan and I signed up for the same tutorial classes so we'll be spending plenty of time together, like we always do! :)

Just checked my blogspot's unique visit and omgoshhhh *panic* this is not good! I think imma fall into depression stage wtf. I'm getting out of this computer lab which is full of annoying iranians. I shall update once I get my bb software! Formspring me ya. My profile page is very sad. HAHA. Till then! :)

Magic: A Moment of Childlike Wonder

If you haven’t heard of Zlwin Chew, the young magician in town, then you should by now, as 17th February 2011, 10pm marks the official launch of Magic: A Moment of Childlike Wonder.

That’s right, watch the video and you’ll be amazed by his fork bending and many more magical power!

If you’re a regular visitor of Zouk, you might have bumped into Zlwin there. So far he’s the only magician in Malaysia working with a club.

Zouk Club

Meanwhile, I didn’t intend to promote Zouk but allow me to say that Zouk is the only club in Malaysia with a resident magician XD

resident magician

Before knowing him personally (which was way before I started clubbing in Zouk XD), I was aware of Zlwin’s existence through his occasional appearance in May Zhee’s blog. It wasn’t until 7aste Monte Carlo last year that I’ve finally met him in person. And was shocked to discover that he’s only 1 year elder than me!

mayzhee

Can you believe that at the age of 21, he was already invited to perform for members of the Royal Family, Tun Mahathir, Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew and other distinguished personalities?! Recently, he even performed his awesome magic in Mumbai, India in front of more than 20,000 people!

mahathir

Aside from performing magic, Zlwin’s second biggest hobby is taking photographs with pretty girls and have they uploaded onto his Facebook! HAHA.

girls

Just kidding. Don’t throw dirty socks at me. Teehee.

Don’t forget to watch the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAtxz7w14wA and follow @ZlwinChew on twitter! Support Zlwin Magic and keep the party rockin’!

Tainan - all about food

Here’s a continuation of my previous Tainan post.

7 of us cramped in Hsiang Kai’s little car.

Played base ball for the first time.

There’s no way you could hit a homerun without getting your palm all sore up :(

Photobucket

小情侣。Every Taiwanese family owns a bike as it’s the most common means of transportation there.

Photobucket

Fish head that kinda stinks. Reminded me of 臭臭锅。

Photobucket

麻辣汤 with 鸭血 and 鱼蛋。

Photobucket

Yummy 豆乳鸡。

Photobucket

The famous 大肠包小肠。

Photobucket

It’s actually Taiwan sausage wrapped by an outer layer of rice. I prefer to eat the sausage itself though (unintended obscene pose).

Photobucket

Came across a mini size dog which we couldn’t tell whether it was real or fake until we touched it and felt the warmth. Up to now, Stepf is still confused thinking that it was a toy though -.-

Photobucket

糖葫芦 my favourite! The strawberries in Taiwan are fresh and juicy!

Photobucket

Bowling after night market.

Photobucket

During which I broke my fingernail, like I always did.

Photobucket

金莎,Hsiang Kai’s pet poodle that can really jump.

It was 4pm by the time we woke up the next day. Went to this South Park place for our first meal of the day.

Takoyaki.

Photobucket

Chicken chop and fried sweet potato balls.

Photobucket

The best 豆干 I had which I couldn’t find anywhere else in Taiwan! They must have made it with sweet sauce or something.

Photobucket

Mee-sua, or something. Can’t recall the exact name.

Photobucket

Told ya, Tainan is all about food!

Photobucket

The sky was dark by the time we finished eating.

Photobucket

Photo with each of them before leaving Tainan.

Michael the fatty.

Photobucket

Hsiang Kai our kind Tainan host.

Photobucket

Gimmy, his hensem 15-year-old brother.

Fourth Cheque from Nuffnang

Hey peeps, I've got my fourth cheque from Nuffnang! It was received around the beginning of January and had been kept by dad in the drawer ever since. Finally got it deposited yesterday before I left Muar.

IMG_6369

The money shall be used for my coming Bangkok trip! XD

Didn't intend to hide the amount but then the flash focused on the cheque, oh well. It's just slightly more than the amount written on my third cheque, not enough for the Gucci bag I want though T.T

And how the heck did I get 39 comments for that post??? I must had many supportive readers back! Unlike now, all of you don't even care to read, let alone to leave a comment :(
