Hennessy Artistry is back at The Mist

I remember a year ago when I first worked for Hennessy Artistry, it was held at Mist Club, Bangsar. It was a significant day for me during which I met someone whom shall not be named and also got acquainted with a few others. Teehee.

Photobucket

Spot me. I guess I was much fatter back then.

Photobucket

Then there was Hennessy Artistry at The Mines.

Photobucket

And Hennessy Artistry at The Opera.

Photobucket

Partying with gorgeous ladies!

Photobucket

This time, Hennessy Artistry is back at The Mist on July 9, this Saturday! I haven’t been to The Mist ever since the first time I worked for HA. Wonder if anything has changed. Kinda looking forward to the event particularly due to the nostalgia.

Photobucket

Hmm, did I just see a Sarah Palin lookalike? LOL.

Besides watching the performances and enjoying the free flow, don’t forget to check out the mixing bar and other exciting activities brought to you by Hennessy Artistry!

Photobucket

See you this Saturday! Drink responsibly and don’t get piss drunk! Teehee.

My First Hollywood Waxing Experience @ Waxxx

Recently, there have been so many Brazilian wax deals being promoted by coupon deals companies. My friend, Jol Wee who works in Dealmates had been bugging me to do a Brazilian wax, even though she herself hasn’t done it before! To be honest, Brazilian wax sounds like a very exotic and unconventional kind of experience and I never thought I would actually do it. But thanks to Waxxx, I had my very first memorable waxing experience!

Photobucket

Located at Aman Suria, Waxxx offers a trendy ambience and excellent top-notch service. All waxes and accessories and imported from Australia.

Photobucket

In conjunction with their new opening, Waxxx is giving 40% discount for every customer on one body part! So if you wanna try out waxing, this is no doubt the best time and the best place!

Photobucket

I opted for leg waxing at first, but was eventually persuaded to do Hollywood waxing – removing every single strand of hair off my private part! I was extremely terrified to be honest. I couldn’t imagine peeling hot wax off my hairy pubes! The sight of the equipment already made me shivered.

Photobucket

That’s me getting ready to be executed waxed. Wtfreak.

Photobucket

Contrary to my fear, Hollywood waxing wasn’t that painful after all. It actually felt good getting rid of the unpleasant bush down south. The after effect was clean and cooling. Compared to shaving that merely lasts for 2 days, waxing can last you for up to 2 weeks! Which means you can admire your silky smooth baby-like pussy for up to 2 weeks! HAHA.

Photobucket

Okay at this point I know what you guys would probably request. No, I won’t be showing you any of my after-waxed photo -.-

Me and the girls from Waxxx. On my right Ms. Nentze, the owner of Waxxx, on my left Kelly, the co-owner of Waxxx who did an amazing job on my (?). Teehee.

Photobucket

Whoever says waxing is only for girls? Guys do it too! If you wanna know how a guy feels getting his testicles waxed, head on to Sam’s blog as he'll be posting up his experience soon! XD

Photobucket

If you think that bald guy looks familiar, look at this billboard back from 2008!

Photobucket

Apparently he’s David Tan, the guy who spent RM40K on the billboard marriage proposal! And Kelly, the one we addressed as the lucky girl back then is the owner of Waxxx like I’ve mentioned. Not only I received a complementary waxing session, I had the opportunity to meet this famous couple too! Best day ever! LOL.

Kelly and fellow bloggers who received the complementary waxing session.

Photobucket

Don’t forget to like Waxxx on Facebook. For any inquiries, call the number below or send an email to inquiries@waxxx.me

Photobucket

Now that I’ve got my pubes waxed, the next shall be my legs. Oh, did I forget to mention that they also do permanent hair reduction? That means after each waxing service, there will be less hair growing the next time. Awesome!

You can call me along if you’re visiting Waxxx! Trust me, you’ll not regret it as both the process and result are definitely worth while! :)

HP Hit Print Roadshow

As I was browsing through Facebook yesterday, I came across HP’s page which immediately caught my interest. Apparently HP roadshow is back again with more interesting activities and great offers!

Photobucket

From 19July-9August, there will be HP Hit Print Roadshow at various colleges and universities in Klang Valley. Details of roadshow could be obtained here.

Among the printers being sold by HP, there are two which I had my eyes on:

HP Photosmart Wireless e-All-in-One Printer B110a

Photobucket

If you can email it, you can print it!

A wireless printer!!! I’ve had enough wires tangled up in my room thanks to my laptop, BB charger, hair dryer, camera charger etc. It would be best if I can get a printer without wire to add on to the mess. What’s more, I can place it anywhere I please without having to worry about the length of the wire! Underneath my table, most likely, since there’s ample space! Teehee.

HP Deskjet Ink Advantage All-in-One Printer K209a

Photobucket

Ultra low cost printing!

Some of you might have heard of this printer before. For an ink cartridge that costs merely RM27, it allows you to print 600 pages! Definitely worthwhile for regular users especially university students like me.

Photobucket

Oh, did I forget to mention that during the roadshow, there will be many fun activities including onethat allows you to win a HP printer at the cost of RM1??? Freaking awesome!!!

Meanwhile, there’s a photo contest on HP Facebook Malaysia that offers prizes such as HP printers, iPad and Smartphones! Hoho, are you not excited yet? XD

Okay I’m gonna try my luck winning those printers now! Good luck to you too (not)! Teehee.

Bangkok Trip Part 1 - Imm Fusion Sukhumvit

My recent 5 days 4 nights trip to Bangkok was all about shopping and food!

A friend recommended us to stay at Imm Fusion Hotel at Sukhumvit which is located 2 minutes away from On Nut Sky Train station. When we first saw the hotel, we were already amazed by its beautiful design. For the price of less than RM100 per night (per room), Imm Fusion seems like a pretty good deal.

Photobucket

Gotta love the high cathedral-like ceiling. Unlike other commercial looking hotel, it serves as a constant reminder that I am indeed having my vacation!

Photobucket

Transportation was never easier with the train station located just a stone’s throw away. Next to the station there was a Tesco where we got our water supply every day.

Photobucket

Camho in our hotel room ^.^

Photobucket

For those who have been to Bangkok, you would know where Platinum Mall is. A must-go wholesale shopping paradise where girls like us go crazy! The clothes there are so cheap and pretty we went there for 3 days throughout our trip! Wtfreak.

Photobucket

And thank goodness none of us like those temple and tourist site visiting bullshit. All of us agreed to just SHOP and EAT! There was this shop near Pratunam market where we had the yummiest lunch after a tiring shopping session.

Photobucket

In Bangkok, all food stalls tend to serve your drink in a full glass of ice which I hate. Drinks become diluted since I always take my sweet time.

Photobucket

The boys: Eugene, Hing Yee and Loo (lady boy).

Photobucket

The girls: Jess, me and Jol Wee.

Photobucket

Our all time favourite Tom Yum Seafood. Had it almost everyday! XD

Photobucket

Best omelet ever!

Photobucket

Chili paste squid was yummy!

Photobucket

Seafood fried rice which was ordinary but a great combination with Tom Yum soup.

Photobucket

If by now my post is making you hungry, then you should stop scrolling down cause I’m posting more food photos from Chinatown! Hiak hiak.

Photobucket

In Chinatown located at Yaowarat, you see numerous shops selling shark fin and bird nest.

Photobucket

We were told that seafood in Chinatown is cheap so together we squashed our 6 fatty bums into a taxi and headed there for dinner. T&K Seafood Restaurant somewhere at a corner.

Photobucket

Does the guy on the left resemble Jay Chou or is it just coincidence? LOL.

Photobucket

Every restaurants and food stalls I visited in Bangkok serves a variety of chilies although the food they serve already contain a sufficient amount of chili to begin with.

Photobucket

Waiting for our nom nom.

Photobucket

Thai style steam fish with lime was the best! So appetizing it kept us wanting for more!

Photobucket

Stir fried kangkong aka Morning Glory leaves finished within a few minutes.

Photobucket

Crabs there aren’t that cheap after all. They are charged according to size instead of kg. Small RM30 per crab; Medium RM35 per crab; Large RM40 per crab T.T

Garlic flavour.

Photobucket

Curry flavour.

Photobucket

The taste was so so.

Salad prawn.

Photobucket

Curry squid.

Photobucket

Clams (lala) with some sweet sauce. Yums! Love it! The girls hated the taste of the leaves thingy though.

Photobucket

Coconut drink was another must have in Thailand. Whether the coconut meat can be easily scooped, it depends a lot on your luck XD

Photobucket

Giant mirror for vain tourists like us. Teehee.

Photobucket

It was difficult to get a vacant taxi there so we took tuk-tuk instead. That was our only tuk-tuk ride because most of the drivers there would try to scam us at extremely rip-off fares. Metered taxis are definitely more worthwhile.

Photobucket

2 tuk-tuks, 50bahts (RM5) each to the nearest train station.

Photobucket

It was a fun and exciting experience though. Imagine having a reckless driver speeding you around the busy streets of Bangkok city with your hair frequently messed up by the wind! One thing for sure, traffic rules in Bangkok aren’t that strict compared to KL city.

Photobucket

Group photo to sum up the post. Oh wait, am I supposed to photoshop myself into that big gap? XD

Photobucket

Look out for more photos from our Bangkok trip soon! :)
