Mei Yan's 21st Birthday

Like I said, October is a pokai month for me as one best friend’s birthday comes after another. October 10 was Mei Yan’s 21st birthday. The blur princess hardly knew what was happening in class as she was so busy with her big celebrations throughout the entire week. Got her some really pink presents ♡

Photobucket

Photo taken during VU night last year. It’s been quite a while since we met each other :)

Angela babe and I bought her a small bouquet of roses and gave her during her party at Zouk. But instead of showing off the flowers to them clubbers, she quickly asked her bf to keep it in the car. Dim gai??? I would have dance with the flowers or something. Wtfreak.

Photobucket

Here are some photos of us taken at Asia One Café, Puchong. Hand itchy so decided to play with Meitu Xiuxiu. We can haz bunny ears! Teehee.

Photobucket

My 38 Angela babe ♡

Photobucket

Can’t imagine how boring my campus life would be without them. Love you babes!

Photobucket

Sharon and the birthday girl.

Photobucket

We were happy with the giant bowl of chicken soup (although mushroom soup would have been better). Food there was good and the combo that comes with soup, main course and brownie for only RM18.90 was super dai! We were so full at the end of the day we nearly dai wtf.

Photobucket

Okay I know that hideous pink crown looks a bit lala. HAHAHAHA but but, it’s my attempt to beautify the birthday girl T_T *failed*

Photobucket

Nah, here’s the only unedited photo. Better?

Photobucket

Ugh, we have one last group assignment that weighs 40% of the total assessment! Can’t wait to finish it so I can haz lotsa me-time! Gonna be study break after next week then final exam. Good luck to everyone else who will be sitting for their papers!

Jess's 21st Birthday @ Nero Vivo

It was my first time dining at Nero Vivo, an Italian restaurant located at Jalan Ceylon, down the road of Changkat. Lovely ambience for a romantic night out or even a gathering dinner with a group of friends, provided you don’t make too much noise. Well, it’s a classy restaurant after all you see. Teehee.

Photobucket

My pretty birthday girl ♡

Photobucket

The beautiful couple.

Photobucket

For starter, we had Antipasto di pesce misto per due o quattro persone (wtf?) or in simpler terms that we understand: grilled prawns and baby squid, fin de Claire oyster, salmon carpaccio, stewed baby octopus, yabbiies Catalana, crab cake, gratinated mussels, octopus salads and zucchini fritti (RM48).

No regrets ordering this starter because all of them are delicious! The portion for 2 is more than enough for 4 of us. You don’t wanna end up too full for the main course.

Photobucket

Took us a while before we tried the food since Jess and I were busy snapping photos XD

Photobucket

Rack of lamb crusted with herbs and goat cheese, turned vegetables and pumpkin mash (RM80).

It was medium cooked just the way we liked it. Half bloody and tender *yums* A little pricey though.

Photobucket

Black ink tagliattele with yabbies, crustacean sauce, fresh cervil parsley and olive oil (RM50).

I was expecting plenty of black ink sauce but neh, only the pasta was black. The yabbies were replaced by tiger prawns with extremely juicy prawn heads! High cholesterol alert! :x

Photobucket

12-inch Pizza Quattro Stagioni with tomato, mozzarella, turkey ham, beef pepperoni, mushrooms and artichoke. (RM35)

All of the ingredients are delicious!

Photobucket

Camwhore couple.

Photobucket

Together-gether.

Photobucket

The girls. Teehee.

Photobucket

Occasionally the waiter would stop by and ask how the food tastes. Most of the time we would be like, oh we haven’t taste it yet! Cause we were too busy taking photos T______T

Photobucket

For dessert, we had chocolate fondant (RM28).
I know that white stuff on top looks a bit disgusting. It doesn’t look so bad in real life okay? XD

The chocolate was so good it would melt your heart even with a small bite! Couldn’t have enough of it!

Photobucket

4 of us :)

Photobucket

Over all the food in Nero Vivo was good. Love the setting of the place too. Go try it if you haven’t! You can check out the menu on their website.

Happy birthday Jess! Hope you like my present! Love you always ♡

Oktoberfest @ 1 Utama

[Advertorial]

Get ready to party because Carlsberg Malaysia, for the first time ever, has recreated the perfect setting to celebrate the world renowned Bavarian national festival, the famous Oktoberfest. The festival, modeled after the Munich Oktoberfest, runs from 21 September to 20 October 2011 at over 25 participating outlets and 18 market squares throughout Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Seremban and Johor.

Photobucket

Courtesy of MHB and Malaysia's Own Oktoberfest, I attended Oktoberfest at 1 Utama! Instead of dressing up elegantly, I decided to go with my ribbon obsession. After all, Oktoberfest is all about fun and enjoyment!

Photobucket

A big tent located at 1 Utama old wing carpark where all the fun began!

Photobucket

Tim, the man behind MHB who always has interesting events coming up for us girls.

Photobucket

To mark this widely-celebrated festival, Carlsberg Malaysia boasts a month-long extravaganza filled with roaring days of exciting parties, music, authentic gastronomic experiences to whet the appetitie and barrels of Carlsberg, Erdinger Weissbier, Franziskaner Weissbier and Lowenbrau to be downed.

Photobucket

Instead of the usual clubbing R&B or hip-hop rock & roll, we indulged in carefree and fun-filled Chicken Dance, YMCA etc!

Photobucket

The night was never boring with the live performance of the Oompah band.

Photobucket

Can't have enough of the girls in their outfits!

Photobucket

Wilee in adorable German costume! Don’t you adore that giant bow on her head??? ♥

Photobucket

The gorgeous Michelle Lee in her rock chic outfit!

Photobucket

Hotties alert! Teehee.

Photobucket

With Chammaine, Michelle and Charis. It’s been a while since I last met Chammaine, she’s looking more matured and skinnier now I could barely recognize her!

Photobucket

Wilee, Ashley and Emma. By the time my hand was already aching from holding the giant pint of beer. Had to continue smiling and be my cheerful self no matter what! Wtfreak.

Photobucket

The fehmes Andy Kho who takes awesome photos! You’ll never fail to see him during every major event. Teehee.

Photobucket

Fellow happening peeps from CHC- Radius and Ann.

Photobucket

And not forgetting Ashley and Kelvin!

Photobucket

Tip-toeing awkwardly next to Amber Chia. Why am I so short??? :(

Photobucket

Sim Hui, the winner of X Top Model. So slim, tall and pretty!!! Even her legs are glowing. LOL! Regretted for not wearing heels that night. Should have seen this coming -.-

Photobucket

Lovely Oktoberfest ginger bread heart to express your affection ♥

Photobucket

After finishing your beer, you could actually keep the glass in the box and bring it home as your souvenir! Awesome, isn’t it? Was wondering why these people so wuliao stacking the boxes sohai so high like that. Apparently they were competing for the tallest beer tower! So tempted to blow and see if it falls. Hiak hiak.

Photobucket

Group photo with the GM of Carlsberg and fellow hot bloggers including Naomi, Stephanie Lim, Mei Sze and those I’ve mentioned.

Photobucket

At first we were sweating in the tent but then God must have heard us so he poured down a heavy rain. It was reduced into a drizzle just in time when we were about to leave. Meanwhile I can haz many pints of German beer for the night!

Photobucket

Being a dynamic brewery that offers a wide portfolio of international brands, Carlsberg Malaysia sets the bar high in its inaugural celebration in Malaysia this year, offering its customers a mind blowing experience to remember.

Missed out this? Don’t fret! If you would like to join the next Oktoberfest, find out the location from Malaysia’s Own Oktoberfest Facebook page!

Beer afficionadoes will also stand a chance to win "The Ultimate Beer Tour" which is a 6 day/ 5 night trip to Munich, Germany and Copenhagen, Denmark with 2 friends by participating in the Facebook contest at here! Aren't you excited?? XD

Don’t forget to come drink with me yo! :)

Loo's 23rd Birthday Party

2nd of October was Loo’s birthday. Can’t believe he’s just turned 23! From the way he behaves, I would always think of him as a 18-year-old! Teehee.

Photobucket

I always have problem deciding what to wear for barbeque party! Bbq is supposed to be oily, smoky and fun, so it’s totally normal if one were to wear singlet and shorts. But then again, it’s a birthday party! Gotta show some respect by dressing up well, no? So in the end I went all pink for the bimbotic birthday boy!

Photobucket

Happy birthday!

Photobucket

Loo’s condo was located at KL city. A few minutes drive away from Pavilion! Okay better not reveal the name in case some gay stalker go look for him. Hiak hiak. We had 2 barbeque pits near the swimming pool all for ourselves!

Photobucket

Obedient poodle that’s got her fur all shaven T.T

Photobucket

Plenty of yummy food that night! Crazy boy prepared them in such big quantity, there were so much leftover at the end of the night. Chicken wings were well-marinated; Pork sausages tasted really good; and not forgetting mushrooms with capsicums (which I used to direct translate as lantern chili until Loo corrected me XD) which was so delicious but took forever to be cooked!

Photobucket

Baked potato with oozing cheese. Would have been better with some salt.

Photobucket

Birthday boy and uni mates.

Photobucket

Cousins. His mum wasn’t home because he shoo-ed her away saying that we would be making noise partying in the house. Wtfreak.

Photobucket

Grace’s attempt to hide behind the pillar just so se would look skinnier. LOL!

Photobucket

Hing Yee and Jess. And someone who looked retarded.

Photobucket

Thank you kakak who helped us kids cleaned up the mess.

Photobucket

After filling up our tummy, it was time to wash them down with booze! Vodka, whisky and tequila! Siao anot so many bottles!!! Omgosh.

Photobucket

Some of us who stayed for the after-party. Notice the painting on the wall? Loo painted it! He must have gotten his inspiration from the evil queen of Alice in Wonderland.

Photobucket

Jess and I. It was her birthday the day after. Next blog post will be about her celebration!

Photobucket

Sisterly love XD

Photobucket

Pre-drinking. Everyone was still sober.

Photobucket

The punishment tequila shot! Yuck yuck yuck! You know how the horrible liquid burns you all the way from your throat to your stomach!

Photobucket

A little bit of ribena vodka is enough to turn him into a red baboon ass! My poor boy crying for his mama. HAHAHAHAHA!

Photobucket

See how freaking red he was! Scratching all over like a baby monkey XD

Photobucket

The last thing I remember was having a ‘sword fight’ with Boldwin with the canes Loo uses to beat his dogs. That was after being forced to gulp down so many cups of vodka. I felt like a fish :(

Photobucket

Needless to say, the birthday boy was the first to KO. Heck, he didn’t even know what time we left!

Photobucket

Hate drinking! Next time, let’s just sip some mocktail and sing karaoke. Bleh.
