Where's the Party 2 @ Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia

[Advertorial]

Remember the previous Where’s the Party held at Sepang Gold Coast? I was working for the event back then but this time, for Where’s the Party 2, I was one of the invited bloggers who had the privilege to take part in the 12-hour-party with Carlsberg!

Photobucket

Departed from Stadium Shah Alam by the media bus. So where’s the party held this time? It was at none other than Carlsberg Malaysia’s Brewery at Shah Alam, the facility where the first Carlsberg beer was locally brewed in 1972.

Soren Ravn, Managing Director of Carlsberg Malaysia said “We are thrilled at the extensive reach of Carlsberg’s “Where’s the Party?” and the immense support and interest garnered from consumers. The main objectives of the party is to create memorable, inspiring moments and experiences for consumers as a way of encouraging them to be bold and stepping up to do the right things. When they think of celebrations and achievements, they will think of the next level with ‘That Calls for a Carlsberg!’”

With other MHB members. That calls for a Carlsberg!

Photobucket

The brewery was set up like a amusement park with all the outdoor games for us partygoers. Before then we were assigned our own, unique RFID (Radio-Frequency Identity) tags, which enabled us to collate points from the games they played and redeem prizes accordingly. These RFID tags were linked to our Facebook accounts and enabled us to update our Facebook status simply by tagging on the “Like” stations throughout the brewery.

Photobucket

Familiar faces everywhere despite there being 2000 guests this time.

Photobucket

There were food and beer counters along the road heading to the game stations. Nasi lemak, satay, fried nuggets, hotdogs, burgers, ice-cream potong etc.

Photobucket

Satay with extra beer flavour? That’s the way man! XD

Photobucket

The party incorporated an ‘amusement park’ theme, complete with childhood favourites such as a ferris wheel, pirate ship and an adult carousel. Some other traditional fun fair booths also included Ring a Green, Toss & Score, Duck Hunt, ‘Our holes, Your balls’ & Wild Wild West.

Photobucket

That’s me trying to catch a rubber duckling with Carlsberg logo attached underneath. Each player was given 3 chances. Each duckling with the logo would score us 10 points. I must say I was pretty lucky that day. Teehee.

Photobucket

On the other hand I was not that good in shooting. Must get a toy gun and practise it more often at home :(

All the game stations closed around 7pm when the performances started on the stage. Was rather worn out by then after running here and there trying to score at the games.

Photobucket

Picnic there while waiting for someone to serve me food #likeaboss XD

Photobucket

Locally acclaimed performers Dennis Lau and Shawn Lee presented a thumping combination of an electric violin and beat boxing. Special group appearances by famous Korean star, Lee An, the unforgettably spontaneous star rapper of Carlsberg Malaysia, Mr Soren Ravn along with violinist Dennis Lau awed the party crowd further.

Photobucket

Home-grown bands Crossfire and Paperplane Pursuit had the crowd dancing to their chart topping hits.

Photobucket

World renowned girl band ‘High on Heels’ also made their first appearance in Malaysia and entertained the crowd with their creative mix of LIVE classical instruments with song mixing on their turntables.

Photobucket

“Where’s The Party” came to a close around 2am the following morning after several hours of non-stop music with international DJs; Sophie Sugar from the UK and Hiloco from Japan.

Photobucket

Photobucket

The crowd at the party. Spotted something fishy going on at the bottom right corner. Wtfreak.

In line with Carlsberg’s philosophy of responsible drinking, Carlsberg encouraged all partygoers to enjoy responsibly and in moderation.

Photobucket

As part of the ‘Enjoy Responsibly’ campaign, Carlsberg planned engagement activities for consumers such as the Alcohol Testing Zone, where consumers had their alcohol level tested while partying and the Drunk Man Zone which enabled consumers to play an android game which showed them the effect of excessive alcohol consumption.

Photobucket

Goodie bag for the media which consists of a giant Carlsberg bottle (empty one lah :P) and a pretty Carlsberg glass! Thanks to Carlsberg Malaysia and MHB, I get to experience the awesome exclusive by-invitation-only party!

It's been a happy month

No, this post is not another advertorial! I know you guys would be bored with me constantly posting up reviews and stuff so here’s something personal to keep you coming back for more. In fact it’s so personal and pointless I’m not sure if you even want to scroll down. Teehee. Any idea what this post is gonna be about?

Face it, you know you enjoy looking at my self-obsessed photos even though you claim that they give you nightmares! *bue paiseh* Here’s a batch of photos I took last month back then in Muar when I got my new hair cut and dye. Did some adjusting to the photos to reveal the actual hair colour. They even show the colour of my lens clearly! XD

No caption this time. Just gonna number them from 1 to 10 in case you wanna comment on any one particular photo.

Back to Nature - Pure Natural Skin Care

Was invited by gorgeous Bell to the launch of Back to Nature, a new range of natural skin care products at The Mines Shopping Centre. Arrived at the shop early with Jiayeen.

Photobucket

I was deeply intrigued by the variety of products Back to Nature has to offer. Unlike the usual skin care brands, Back to Nature uses only pure natural ingredients for all its products. It is good for your health, good for your soul and good for the environment. It is also the first ever in Malaysia that we are adding shea butter into all of our soaps. Also, pure essential oils that has healing purposes.

Photobucket

Bell explaining more on the products to us. Most of the products are suitable for dry, normal and sensitive skin & hair type. 98% tested, organic ingredients from producers that employ earth friendly and sustainable harvesting practices. 100% no harmful synthetic chemicals, fragrance, colorants, preservatives or animal ingredients in any of the products.

Photobucket

The products are manufactured in a pollution free manner in harmony with our environment and conserving resources by using recycled packaging materials whenever possible.

Introducing bath melt that can either be used in the bath tub or in your car as air-freshener. Using it in my room since I have neither bath tub nor car T_T

Photobucket

Simon was there too. I was awkwardly carrying my gigantic bag around because it happened to be my working day. Had to rush to work after the launching.

Photobucket

Very tempting gift hampers targeting Christmas shoppers. There’s a Christmas promotion going on!

Photobucket

Jane and I with our goodie bag that contains Natural Bubbling Bath Melt, Natural Bath Salt, African Shea Butter Anti-wrinkle Eye Cream, Hand & Body Butter, Body & Massage Oil etc worth RM250 altogether.

Back to Nature products are manufactured in a pollution free manner in harmony with our environment and conserving resources by using recycled packaging materials whenever possible. Environmentally friendly, organic, vegan, completely biodegradable and never tested on animals!

So far I’m really happy with the eye cream since it’s really useful for someone like me who put up layers of eyeliner every single day. Wouldn’t want to be a wrinkly old woman who looks 10 years older than her age! (I already look old enough without them wrinkles wtf). Breathing in the natural scent of roses in my room as I’m typing this. Teehee.

Back to Nature is located at The Mines Shopping Centre Level 2 opposite Watson and also VIVA Home Mall 1st Floor Fashion Bazaar K81. Don’t forget to drop by and check out the pure natural products while you’re there! :)

If you aren't visiting any of these malls, don't worry because online shopping is available! Browse through the products on their website anytime of the day! And don't forget to like Back to Nature's Facebook page here.
