Prom Night 2012 @ Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa

That was my second time attending VU Night, the prom night of Victoria University program.

Many have asked why didn’t I take part in Miss VU (equivalent to prom queen). Reasons:

1)      I have no specific talent to perform on the stage.
2)      I hate sacrificing my time for rehearsal.
3)      I want to sit back and enjoy the show. And eat!
4)      I don’t see the benefits of being Miss VU apart from being well-known just on that night itself.
5)      I’m already awesome without being a prom queen.

HAHAHAHA okay not sure about the last one. Really buey paiseh I know XD

The theme that night was Turquoise & Sapphire. Unlike my sis, I was never talented in setting hair so I had to spend at the saloon. Aside from RM60 spent at A Saloon, I bought that giant turquoise hair bow for RM49. FML! But it was worth it for one night of glory wtf.

My prom date house mate Andrew and I missed out the best dressed photography session cause we arrived fashionably late! Swear we could have won the best dressed couple award. No regrets though, since the prize was just a voucher for Beer Factory. LOL.

My face looks extremely chubby -.-

Photobucket

Hate posing next to Andrew cause he’s freaking skinny. Tsk.

Don was one of the emcees of the night. We barely took notice of him though since we were all busy snapping throughout the night. LOL.

After party at Zouk! The one and only photo we have but it’s rather blurry with red-eye effect. Doesn’t matter, we look good! Hiak hiak.

Bumped into Yomiko and a few other freelance girls in the club.

The fun began later that night.

Oh, did I forget to mention I had never been so embarrassed before? Almost fell down in fronta everyone at the main entrance of Zouk but thank goodness Andrew pulled me up. You know how fcking hideous I looked with that giant hair bow on my head, summore fell down in public?!! Laughing stock at that very moment. Oh well :/

A Day Out with the Taiwanese Peeps

The Taiwanese guys from KDU whom I got to know through Stepfanie approximately 2 years ago, who were our hosts during our Taiwan trip!

The other day Kevin who just finished serving the army recently visited Malaysia! So glad that he came to Sunway! Managed to arrange a meet up during the break in between my classes!

Photobucket

Tung who is still in KDU. Still see him once in a while. And I must say I really hate his new hair! Bleh. Oh, he makes fun of my big small eyes all the time. Which is true la. So obvious especially in this photo! O.o

Photobucket

And Peter who studies at Inti Subang now. But we rarely meet since the little boy has a girlfriend now! Pfft.

Photobucket

I looked at his sandals, then I looked at this. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Photobucket

Camwhoring with Kevin’s GF-1. The photos appear impressive in the camera screen, but not so when transferred to the computer. Need to edit to make them better.

Photobucket

Still way better than my Ixus 105 though.

Photobucket

4 of us ^^

Photobucket

After accompanying them for shopping session, we finally sat down for some coffee! Coffeebean’s double chocolate with plenty of whipped cream, just the way I like it!

Photobucket

The greedy tourist XD

Photobucket

Does every Taiwanese guy find joy making weird and ugly poses? -.-

After my class ended, we met up for the second time at Sushi Zanmai for dinner!

Photobucket

Introduced them to Don, my senior who is from Taiwan. So far the only Taiwanese I know in VU. He is younger than me! *ashamed* After a few conversations or so, he realized his good friend from Taiwan happens to be Kevin’s cousin! What a small world. Teehee.

Photobucket

Kim Hong and Don, both seniors from VU. They’ll be graduating this semester :(

Photobucket

Group photo. Hanging out with 5 guys. Not sure if I should be proud or what. LOL.

Photobucket

Oh, I definitely didn’t feel proud when 4 of them kept making fun of my Malaysian Chinese! Especially when I use phrases like lah loh meh. Big bullies! Wtfreak.

Happy Birthday Mummy! ♡

A short dedication to my gorgeous mum whose birthday falls on 21st April!

Happy birthday mummy! It’s a shame I didn’t get to go back home to celebrate with you since I had my weekend classes. I hope you like the little surprise from Gigi and I.

Photobucket

The flowers may die, but your beauty would never cease to shine. May you stay young and pretty as always!

I love you

Time to Buy Audi Cars

You heard it right, that’s my dream car!

  Photobucket

No wait, not this one. That’s the Peugeot 308 Turbo that I’m currently driving. And by driving, I don’t actually mean driving everyday in KL. Only once in a while when I go back to my hometown Muar. Or to put it in a simpler way, I don’t actually own that car as it belongs to my dad :(

Forget about that 308. I’m more fascinated with Audi right now! Have you seen the controversial billboards war between Audi and BMW? My first encounter with this commercial war was during my marketing subject a few semesters back then. And I think it’s brilliant! Here are a few for example:

  Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

A few simple reasons to get Audi cars – they’re luxurious but not overly mainstream. I would certainly be proud to drive an Audi around town to top up on my elegance and sophistication! XD Price is no longer an issue, now that so many second hand Audi cars are on sale. Affordable prices listed on this Carsifu website which I happened to stumble upon!

  Photobucket

Audi A4, Audi A5, Audi TT, whichever model you desire. Noticed the BMW’s advertisement on the side bar? The irony! LOL.

  Photobucket

Just browse through the list and click on any car interested in. The descriptions and contact information will be provided on the page. Most sellers would also post up a few photos of the car from different angles for better view.

  Photobucket

Apart from that, you can narrow down your search by selecting the location of the seller. So far, the listed locations are Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor and others. Otherwise, if you’re someone lazy like me, simply type in the exact car model you require in the search box and it’ll show you all the cars that are available for sale! Makes our life easier, doesn’t it?

  Photobucket

I would go for Audi TT Turbo! If you’re following my Twitter, you would have probably read about my obsession on turbo cars! It gives me a sense of satisfaction stepping on the pedal making those loud vroom vroom sounds! HAHA. That’s what I always do with my car. I wouldn’t recommend you to follow my foot steps (literally) though since it really consumes plenty of petrol! Tsk tsk.

Okay, enough said. Time to get an Audi car! Not by cash, although I wish I could do so. Get that car loan approved first! Teehee.

Hop on to Carsifu.com and browse through the cars on sale. Who knows you might find your dream car there available at the cheapest deal? :)

Shermin's 21st Birthday + Upstairs Cafe

This year is a significant year for most of my course mates in VU for the time has come for them to turn 21. I’ve long embraced this adulthood since last year, or to be precise, 8 months ago. It makes me feel older than I already am, watching them make their wishes and blow their candles. A reminder that I will be 22 this year, that there’s about to be more burden and responsibilities in life that I must bear from now onwards. There are solemn moments when I wonder, how much time exactly I have wasted? No, I shall not dwell on such disheartening thoughts. If there was one thing I learnt, it is one ought to look forward to the brightest possibilities in the future by constantly learning from the past, but meanwhile not let our past define us.

A customized charm bracelet for my classmate, Shermin who has recently turned 21. Golden accessories are always so irresistible! I’ve always wanted a charm bracelet but they’re so pricey! But this time I customized one for myself as well XD

Photobucket

Rachel and Angela, my 2 bff in uni! There’s not a single day you don’t see us hanging out together.

Photobucket

The pretty birthday girl and her fabulous Barbie cake.

Photobucket

A photo with the rest of the girls.

Photobucket

And a few uni peeps.

Photobucket

Beer game session which I dreaded. Those awful gassy drink always make me so bloated :(

Photobucket

Anyway the other day someone brought me to Upstairs Café located at SS12, somewhere next to Sime Darby Medical Centre. It was such a lovely café I couldn’t believe I wasn’t aware of its existence after staying for so long around this area! Didn’t have my camera to capture that little cosy place, but here’s some simple views taken with my bb.

Photobucket

Photobucket

I will always be reminded of this image whenever someone mentions jizz jazz from now on. HAHA wtfreak.

Photobucket

Red velvet cake – RM8. Totally worth trying! There were red velvet cupcakes as well selling for RM5.

Photobucket

Green tea latte – RM8.

Photobucket

Seafood aglio olio – RM 13.90 and beef bacon carbonara – RM 9.90.

Photobucket

Really affordable prices for their yummy food (especially the dessert!) and soothing ambience. It happened to be raining when I was there, so it felt like I was safely tucked in this cosy haven, distant from the danger and turmoil of the world outside.

My initial intention was to do my revision there, but somehow I picked one of the darkest corners with really comfortable cushion seats. So it ended up a 4-hour-long talk cock session instead -.-

According to the tips on 4square, their chocolate brownie is awesome too. I’ll do a proper review the next time I visit!

Today is the first day we returned to uni after our mid-sem break. I was horrified to see the deadlines of our assignments. Less than 3 weeks’ time to complete 4 major assignments, 3 of which are due in the same week! And not to mention tests this week and the following week. Dafuq someone please just stab me now! I’m amazed I even had time to blog now.

I was about to show you some thick-ass law books that I borrowed from the library the other day but on second thought, better not, in case someone decides to borrow the exact same books as me which would further contribute to my plagiarism percentage. Okay fine I admit I’m kiasu like that, but better be safe than sorry! LOL. Had a hard time carrying those books home all by myself. Endure, for the reward would be worthwhile!

I mean, provided if I get HD for my Corporate Law. Teehee. Wish me luck!
