Movie Review: Skyfall

Courtesy of MHB, I attended the premiere screening of Skyfall this morning with other media partners. Here’s my movie review with no spoiler! Just gonna tell you my general opinion on the overall of Skyfall.

The usual scenes you’d expect from James Bond movies: Bond’s sizzling hot body (he looks irresistible even from the back!!!), loud shooting and bombing, sexy Bond girls and plenty of high-tech computer coding which I couldn’t quite comprehend. Some die, some survive (okay you may ignore this sentence for its redundancy wtf, the result of no spoiler).

Adele’s epic song Skyfall in the beginning with the credits and some artistic visual effect during which I thought I actually saw a hot Asian girl holding a gun, which led me into thinking that this time there’d be an Asian Bond girl but the only Asian girls in the movie were those who played insignificant roles in the Macau casino :(

Le sexy time scenes were totally censored. FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU!!!!

Kinda expected both of the girls to be extremely pretty and sexy but the black girl was rather ordinary.

Q, the geek guy in this movie is so cute with his sweater! Totally my type, albeit a tad bit too skinny. Later on I googled him up and discovered that he’s 32! He looks 10 years younger in the movie with specs and without moustache!

Anyhow movie is great. The plot flows pretty well. I particularly like how they shot the scenes at Westminster station and the magnificent view of Skyfall, Scotland. Oh, be ready to see how they destroyed VW beetles and Sean Connery’s Aston Martin! Awesome but gimme heartache T_T

Go book your ticket and let me know what you think of it!

Rating: 8/10
