On 6 July 2013, I attended Celcom 4G LTE Blogger Race held
at Sunway Lagoon. Very excited for a day of race, water, games and actions!
Lucky for us the haze condition was much better by then.
We arrived as early as 9.30am and mingled with other female
bloggers before entering the theme park. Apart from MHB bloggers, there were
also celebrities who participated in the race including Iqram Dinzly, Kamal
Adli, Along Cham and Ezzrin Loy.
It was very thoughtful of Celcom to have provided us
breakfast before the race. After speeches and a short briefing session, we got
ourselves all prepared for the game at 10.30am.
We spilt into 5 teams among ourselves, each team represented
by a different colour. My orange teammates were Sarah, Mei Sze, Jia Yeen and
Kay who were crazy and hyper all the time! Had so much fun with them and it’s
no doubt we made a great team together.
Task of the day: solve the clues given, seek for the “hidden
marshal” at every game station to obtain a “pass” from them. The more “pass” we
gather, the higher our score.
It took us a while to solve the clues as we weren’t that
familiar with the games at Sunway Lagoon. What’s even more challenging is the
fact that we had to run and climb up stairs from one game station to another. A
great work out session for someone unathletic like me who barely sweat from
exercises.
The challenges we had to complete that day includes
Paintball Target Shooting, ATV, Kayak, Flying Fox, Water Obstacle, Dunk Machine
and Waterplexx 5D.
The first game we went for was Dunk Machine. It wasn’t that
difficult as most of us had tried this game before.
ATV Jungle Trail was fun! As we had time constraint, we
literally had to beg the people in the queue to let us go first, to which they
agreed in exchange for photographs with us. LOL.
It was my first time riding an ATV and I’m glad I didn’t
lose control when going down the slope. It was tricky and adventurous cause the
slopes had tree roots on the surface of the ground that threatened to trip us
or something T_T

Tried kayaking for the first time too! Omgosh how many more
games have I not played before? Such a jakun. Wouldn’t have completed the kayak
challenge if I weren’t teamed up with Sarah. It required plenty of arm strength
which I kinda lacked :x
Flying fox. After one of us went for this game, the rest of
us had to exit from there through a freaking long sky bridge. Panted from one
end to another.
Python slide. Stephanie’s priceless expression really
cracked me up XD
The new vuvuzela slide which we were all looking forward to!
Our team managed to return to the gather point before time
was up. By then we were all exhausted but that didn’t stop us from laughing
over all the funny strategies we girls adopted during the exciting race.
