Delicious yet Affordable Foie Gras @ Yakitori Dining FUKUDA

It was my second visit to this Japanese Tori restaurant at Desa Sri Hartamas. It was a spontaneous visit that night since we happened to pass by, and as expected the restaurant was packed (mostly Jap patrons).

We opted to sit at the bar which allowed us the full view of our skewers being prepared throughout the night. Occasionally the Japanese owner would check on the workers and made sure they were doing a great job grilling them tasty meat.

Make sure to grab a glass of fresh Suntory premium draught beer when you are there.  Cold and refreshing and tasted like fresh malt. Certainly goes well with the skewers.

We ordered almost everything possible from the tori menu (except things like bishop nose la we don't fancy that lol)

Pork belly

Chicken thigh with wasabi

Chicken skin

Japanese leek

Grilled cream cheese (yums, something different)

And some other things like chicken wings, shiitake, wagyu, bacon, salmon etc which I didn't manage to snap any pic (too busy chewing my food).

And of course, not forgetting the highlight of the night - Foie Gras!

It was so yummy that we ordered an additional portion! The goose liver was just right, not too fatty therefore you won't feel disgusted or zai even if you take a huge chunk of it. Plus it costs less than 30 bucks (can't recall the exact price) which is about half the price of that offered at fine dining restaurants ^^

Total spending was RM200 for 2 (including 2 glasses of Suntory draught beer).

Will definitely be back for the awesome Foie Gras!
